Estimations and surveys

We will come and estimate your property based on the current market, other properties of the same category and standard and your own expectations. This service is free and does not bind you to selling your property through us. We will take pictures and will need lots of information from you concerning the property (heating, plumbing, surface area etc.)

Once a price has been agreed by both parties (you have the final say), we will ask you to sign a 'mandat de vente' or sale contract with our agency.

The vendor at this point must carry out the relevant surveys on the property to ensure that as soon as a buyer is found for the property there is no hold up in the sales process. Therefore the vendor must provide 2 Valley Properties with an energy report, asbestos and lead survey and electricity survey. If the property is not connected to the commune's mains drains system then a control of the sewage tank (fosse septique) must now be carried out (from January 2011). They should also provide plans of the property and/or the land, details of the Taxe Foncière and the Taxe d'habitation for the property and the ‘acte de proprieté’.
